Holiday Clubs at Cuddles

Here at Cuddles, we are very pleased to be able to offer age-appropriate holiday clubs for children from Reception through to 14 years. Our holiday clubs run every school holiday (including half-terms, summer and Christmas), however times and activities will vary to take into account the child’s age and time of year.

Holiday Club sessions must be booked in advance and children will be with other children of similar ages for activities. We love taking children out and about and helping them to have fun and enjoy what’s on offer locally.  Our holiday clubs will often find us out and about exploring the Jurassic Coast, bug hunting or beachcombing in the great outdoors!  On other sessions, we will be getting creative with arts, crafts, singing, dancing and much more!

Depending on our schedule, parents can book whole days or part days and ensure that their children are having lots of fun and creative time during the school holidays.

Hourly sessions are available on non-trip days (a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 6 hours).  We offer trips so that children have a wide range of activities on offer and some trips involve travelling in and around Dorset so a full 8am-6pm day ensures that children have plenty of time to play!

Most children of school age will not need a change of clothes during their day with us however on trip days we recommend providing your child with a change of clothes.  Children should wear practical clothes for the activities planned and suitable shoes for anything physical.  For water based activities children would benefit from having swim wear and a towel. We will provide children with sun cream unless you choose to supply your own and advise to bring a hat on very hot days.  British weather can be very temperamental so we won’t always be able to get fully involved in outdoor water activities but we will take advantage of the lovely sunshine when we can.

We provide a morning and an afternoon snack to the children but on most days you will be asked to provide a lunch box.  Some activities include lunch as part of the cost so please read the activity information fully when you book.

If your child has an allergy you should always inform the staff in charge of the day.  Any medication such as Piriton or Epi Pens must be given to a staff member and we will carry this with us on the trip.  Children with food allergies will be given an alternative snack suitable to their dietary needs.

No unfortunately, all pre-booked session will need to be paid for even if you do not attend.  If we have to cancel an activity due to bad weather or if there is not the minimum children attending to cover the external activity requirements then we will refund the cost of the trip/activity only.

On non-trip days you are welcome to drop off and pick up your child at any time however we don’t always stay in the nursery building so it is advisable to telephone first to find out where to collect.  On trip days we ask that you arrive at nursery by 8.30am so that we can leave promptly and we will always arrive back at nursery by 5.30pm.

Please note if no direct debit is present then full payment will be required at time of booking.

Please provide a packed lunch for your child when attending a booking between 12pm and 1pm. Please ensure that holiday forms are handed in or posted to Cuddles. We do not accept provisional bookings. Every pre-booked session will be charged. On trip days, please bring a packed lunch for your child that is clearly labelled, with a drink, as we will be unable to serve hot dinners.
