Schools out for summer and what is there to do? For many of us, whilst the break from the school run, homework and packed lunches may come as a relief, struggling to entertain the children day in/day out – keeping them away from the Xbox or from being glued to their mobile phone also brings its own set of challenges.
For any parents who have ever muttered the words ‘when I was your age, we played outside’ watching your child glued to their electronics is very frustrating. Keeping children engaged as they get older seems to become more difficult as technology advances and the children grow up. Oh for the simple things in life!
Here at Cuddles, we are firm believers in the outdoors and keeping children engaged through the power of play. With that in mind, we’ve got a whole host of activities lined up to keep children from Reception through to 14 years old entertained whilst you work (or even have a sneaky day to yourself!).
Our summer school runs from Thursday 26th July through until Friday 31st August. You can book as many or as few sessions as you like and on certain days, we are even offering a 3-hour minimum session.
We’ve lots of exciting days out, including a day at Weymouth Sealife Centre, Sandbanks beach, Ringos and Ski Bobs, Upton Country Park and Brownsea Island. Other activities include science experiments, water fun in the garden, arts and crafts, fancy dress, den building, bushtucker trials, building bug homes and much more!
Dates can be booked throughout the summer holidays and some of the trips will require an extra payment – details of all the prices, a full schedule of activities and booking deadlines can be found by clicking the link below.
